Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 3 January 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases of physical products, including journals and stationery (“Products”), made through www.thethrivingmuslim.com (“the Site”) or purchased in person. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. About Us:

The Thriving Muslim operates as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Our contact email is info@thethrivingmuslim.com and our business address is Office 1, Izabella House, 24–26 Regent Place, Birmingham, B1 3NJ. Our website is www.thethrivingmuslim.com.

2. Product Information:

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, and details on the Site are accurate. Please note that colours may appear differently due to screen settings and minor variations may occur between items. All measurements are approximate. By purchasing our Products, you acknowledge that such minor variations do not constitute faults.

3. Pricing and Payment:

All prices are listed in GBP (£). As a sole trader, we are not VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT. Payment methods available will be shown at checkout and payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

4. Order Process and Contract Formation:

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the Products. A contract is formed once we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order for reasons such as stock unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraudulent activity. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and issue a refund.

5. Shipping, Delivery and Dispatch:

Orders are normally dispatched within 1 to 3 working days unless stated otherwise. Delivery times vary depending on the courier and your location, and any dates provided are estimates only. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. We cannot refund or replace orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If your parcel is delayed or missing, we will assist in tracking it with the courier. A replacement or refund may be issued once the courier confirms the parcel is lost. If international shipping is offered, buyers outside the UK are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or delays.

6. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations (Your Legal Rights):

For online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the item, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. You then have a further 14 days to return the product. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition. You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty. We will issue a refund for the product price within 14 days of receiving the returned item. To request a return, please email info@thethrivingmuslim.com with your order number. For purchases made in person at events, the 14-day change-of-mind policy does not apply. Returns for in-person purchases are accepted only if the item is faulty or defective. If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the issue. Faulty items will be replaced or refunded at no cost to you. Damage resulting from misuse or general wear and tear is not considered a fault.

7. Cancellation Before Dispatch:

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at info@thethrivingmuslim.com. If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

8. Intellectual Property:

All content on the Site, including product designs, branding, images, text, and graphics, is the intellectual property of The Thriving Muslim. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for any losses caused by events outside our control, including courier delays or delivery issues. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to your purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the Product. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Prohibited Uses:

You must not misuse the Site by attempting to commit fraud, interfere with the website’s operation, access areas without authorisation, or copy or misuse our content. We reserve the right to withdraw access or cancel orders if misuse is detected.

11. Privacy:

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found on the Site. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law:

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your purchase or from these Terms will be handled under UK jurisdiction.
